Corpus Christi ISD schools came together in a big way for this year’s Peanut Butter Bowl, collecting more than 3,100 pounds of peanut butter — approximately 1.55 tons — to help support the Coastal Bend Food Bank.
With all six participating teams contributing to the effort, the 2026 campaign marks the largest Peanut Butter Bowl collection effort in Corpus Christi ISD history. The district-wide initiative brought schools and communities together for a friendly competition with an important purpose: helping stock the shelves of the Coastal Bend Food Bank and making a meaningful difference for those facing food insecurity in the Coastal Bend.
We are extremely proud of all of our schools, student-athletes, coaches, staff, and communities for joining together to support such an important cause. The Peanut Butter Bowl is about more than football. It is an opportunity for our schools to come together, give back, and positively impact our community.
