Corpus Christi Independent School District has various standard models for devices, which are outlined below for each grade level/grade level band.  A District goal is to move towards these standards over the next upcoming years.

Elementary Schools:

• Grades PK:  22 iPads a Classroom Set 

• Grades K: 11 iPads and 11 Chromebooks a Classroom Set   

• Grades 1-5:  22 Chromebooks a Classroom Set

• 10% of enrollment for spares in the library

• Assessment carts with Chromebooks 

• Library cart with 32 Chromebooks

Secondary School Classrooms:

• 1:1 Chromebooks in grade 6-12 *

• 10% of enrollment for spares in the library

• Assessment carts with Chromebooks 

• Library cart with 32 Chromebooks

Fine Arts Classrooms: 

• 5 iPads in each Fine Arts Classroom Districtwide

• One cart of iPads per school for sharing with Fine Arts Classroom

* New for the 2023-2024 school year, the District Technology Standards for secondary campuses allow administrators the autonomy to manage Chromebook distribution, as needed. Campuses may continue to distribute Chromebooks directly to students but have the flexibility to distribute to classrooms in sets.
