Student Transfer Information
The Office of Admissions, Attendance and Student Support Services will begin accepting 2026-2027, Student Transfer applications beginning January 7, 2026, through April 1, 2026. Application must be submitted during transfer application window and no later than deadline date with required documentation for processing. Students should enroll at their home campus pending transfer status.
Criteria for Acceptance of a Transfer: In approving a transfer from one campus to another, the Superintendent or designee will consider the availability of space and instructional staff, the student's disciplinary history, attendance record, and academic performance.
Eligibility For UIL Activities: The approval for a CCISD transfer does not guarantee UIL eligibility for a student. Eligibility to participate in University Interscholastic League activities shall be determined by the rules that are established by the most current edition of the UIL Constitution and Contest Rules Handbook.
Eligibility for Varsity Athletic Competition for high school students shall be in accordance with the Office of Athletics Guidelines for Varsity Athletic Competition. FMI: Office of Athletics at (361) 695-7650
Eligibility for Non-Athletic Activities for high school students shall be in accordance with the rules set by either the UIL and/or by the campus program sponsor or teacher for that non-athletic activity. FMI: Office of Fine Arts (361) 695-7433

Students on an approved transfer in grades 5 and 8 of the current school year must reapply for the 2026-2027 school year.
Students on an approved Out of District transfer for the current school year must reapply for the 2026-2027 school year.
