CCISD recently broke ground on a new middle school, which will be located on the southeast side of the city next to the new Creekside Elementary School.
As guests arrived for the ceremony, they were greeted by members of the Veterans Memorial High School cheer team and drumline.
"New and renovated schools are an important strategy in a multi-faceted plan that supports our board goals of improving student outcomes,” said Board President Don Clark. “When our students succeed, we all succeed.”
The new middle school is set to open August 2025.
