Despite gloomy weather, students shared excitement about the solar eclipse. Many went outside to see if they could catch a glimpse of the eclipse, while others enjoyed NASA’s livestream.
Students at Galvan Elementary School, for example, grabbed their safety glasses and headed outside. Students and staff shared the same excitement when the clouds would move for a few seconds and they could catch a quick glimpse of the eclipse. When the viewing concluded, students enjoyed a Moon Pie and a Capri Sun.
