Corpus Christi ISD is pleased to announce that it will continue providing free breakfast and lunch to all students for the upcoming school year. Schools qualifying to operate the Community Eligibility Provision provide breakfast and lunch to all enrolled students at no charge.

“Providing our students with nutritious meals is essential to supporting both their health and academic success,” said Superintendent Dr. Roland Hernandez.

The free meals program is made possible through the Texas Department of Agriculture via the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

CCISD has been providing free breakfast and lunch since 2018. During the 2024-2025 school year, CCISD served over 6.2 million free breakfast, lunch, Saturday and supper meals.

Although parents and guardians will not need to complete a free/reduced lunch application, they will still need to complete a district income survey. The income survey is part of the online registration process. Gathering data on students’ economic status helps the district remain compliant with state reporting and receive money for grants and programs.
