CCISD honored more than 100 outstanding student leaders, including Student Council presidents, vice presidents and Senior Council presidents and vice presidents at the 19th Annual Student Leadership Ceremony.
In his opening remarks, Superintendent Dr. Roland Hernandez highlighted the importance of lifelong learning.
"Some of you have heard me talk about my first leadership experience, which was in elementary school, in student council," he said. "Even today, as the superintendent of a large school district, I am still learning how to improve as a leader."
A special thank you to the student council sponsors who guide and mentor these students throughout the year. Your dedication makes a lasting impact!
