Corpus Christi ISD has named Teresa Toliver as Director of Career and Technical Education.
Toliver must recently served as Career and Technical Education (CTE) Program Manager at Alief ISD in Houston. She also has extensive experience in CTE curriculum and instruction through her roles as CTE Student Development Specialist and as a classroom teacher.
The CTE Department provides students with an authentic environment to explore their future, including hands-on learning, career exploration and skill development.
She holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Prairie View A&M University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southwest Texas State University.
“We are excited to welcome Mrs. Toliver to CCISD and appreciate the experience and expertise she brings to our Career and Technical Education programs,” said Superintendent Dr. Roland Hernandez. “Her leadership will help us continue providing meaningful opportunities for our students to explore their interests and prepare for success in college and future careers."
