It's a great day to be a running Tiger! Our boys and girls cross country teams left the friendly confines of Corpus Christi and competed against tough competition in the 6A and 5A divisions at the Floresville Invitational today. We're so excited to share that our girls placed second overall, with Elena Lucido winning the entire meet and Linda Villarreal also placing in the top 10. Our boys had a very strong showing, placing sixth out of 17 teams. Our top finisher, Mathew Wilson, finished 14th out of over 100+ in the field. We're so excited that our Tigers will be home in time for us to celebrate them at our tailgate tonight. It's a great time to be a Tiger! Keep up the great work, cross country!

'Twas the weekend before school starting and all through CHS not a creature was stirring.... Just kidding! Our teachers and staff are still working hard preparing for our Tigers to return on Monday! Not only do our custodial staff take care of our campus and staff needs daily, but they have also over the past two weeks helped host the @ccisd SLC, Elementary PD, countless camps, and meetings. Lunch is on us today! Thank you for always going above and beyond!! #TPND #WeAreCarroll 🐅💪💙🧡🩵
