🎬✨ Bringing Stories to Life with Animatics in Mr. Vargas' Class! 🎨🎞️ Our students just wrapped up an Animatic Assignment, where they created storyboards—a series of still frames that, when played back, bring their stories to life! 🖌️📽️ To showcase their creativity, students had the option to use traditional or digital art, with some taking advantage of the drawing tablets I lent out. It was amazing to see their artistic talents shine! 🌟 Storyboards and animatics are the same tools used in professional animation studios like Disney, Nickelodeon, Universal Pictures, Warner Bros., and Paramount—giving our students real-world experience in the art of storytelling. As someone passionate about animation, Mr. Vargas was beyond excited to see what they could create! 🎉 Who knows? 📚🧱 The Heart of a Tiger: Learning Fractions with Legos with Mrs. Montgomery-Knox! 🧱✏️🐯 Our Heart of a Tiger students are making math hands-on and fun by exploring fractions with Legos! 🎉✨ They tackled part-whole relationships by writing fraction equations, drawing fraction models, and building with colorful bricks. 🟢🔴🔵 From stacking bricks to visualizing parts of a whole, they’re building a strong foundation in math—one piece at a time! 🏗️➗📖 Their creativity and problem-solving skills are shining through every step of the way!
