Living the Legacy: An 80’s & 90’s Rewind
Below is the requested attire for all grade levels performing on this day.
PreK 3, PreK 4 AE/ECSC: Students may wear outfits inspired by the celebrities in “We Are the World,” featuring casual 1980s attire such as denim jeans, button-down shirts, sweaters, and T-shirts.
Kinder: Students may wear any 80s or 90s–inspired outfit, such as leather jackets, leggings, jeans, fingerless gloves, and bucket or Kangol hats.
1st: Students should dress in all black. Acceptable options include a black shirt with black jeans, black leggings, or black warm-ups. Gold chains may be worn (real or costume jewelry recommended)
2nd: Students may wear any color shirt with blue jeans. For the Kriss Kross era, clothing can be worn backwards.
3rd: House Party fashion was fun and youthful, including bomber jackets, windbreakers, baggy or high-waisted jeans, parachute pants, sweatpants, bucket hats, hoop earrings and gold chains may be worn (real or costume jewelry recommended)
4th: MC Hammer fashion included extremely baggy pants or regular jeans, bright-colored shirts, jackets or vests, sunglasses, headbands, hats, fingerless gloves, and gold chains (real or costume jewelry recommended)
5th 1st: Students should dress in all black. Acceptable options include a black shirt with black jeans, black leggings, or black warm-ups. Gold chains may be worn (real or costume jewelry recommended)
