Dr. Kimberly Bissell, principal of Windsor Park Elementary School, is one of five educators who will be presented with the Charles Pickitt Educator of the Year Award by the Association of Texas Professional Educators. She has been named ATPE's Administrator of the Year. She will be presented with the award in July.

Brenda Marshall, our Senior Director of Athletics, was named the recipient of the Texas High School Coaches Association's Jody Conradt Award.
The award honors those who have served as a positive role model for athletes and coaches, and by her actions, bring credit to coaching and the advancement of women in athletics. #CCISDproud 👏

During yesterday's Board Meeting, the Board of Trustees recognized Pre-K students from ECDC for reciting the pledge at the beginning of the board meeting.
Dr. Esperanza Zendejas, Executive Director of Education Service Center, Region 2, presented a check worth $65,079.04 to the district through the Goodbuy Purchasing Program.
We were over the moon for the eclipse! 🌕☀
Our students got a chance to take a look outside and view a livestream of the event. 😎
