On Sept. 12, Solomon M. Coles marked its 100th anniversary with a very special celebration! Alumni, staff, and friends of the campus came together to honor its history, reconnect with one another, and celebrate a legacy of learning.

As we come together to support our schools, let’s remember to do it The Texas Way.
A few reminders before you head to the games:
Clear Bag Policy: Clear bags/backpacks are required at all middle and high school campuses, gyms and stadiums.
Service animals: Only trained service animals are permitted at events under district policy.

Yesterday, we celebrated the ribbon cutting ceremony for the brand-new Carl O. Hamlin Middle School campus! The new campus features natural lighting, collaborative learning spaces, modern security and technology and durable storm-resistant construction.
“Our amazing students and dedicated staff are so deserving of this new building and everything it encompasses," Principal Bridget Lamoureux said. "It is much more than a beautiful new space filled with new items, it is the beginning of a new chapter filled with opportunity, learning, and growth.”
This campus was made possible by Bond 2022.

She says her greatest achievement is seeing the transformation of her students throughout the year and helping them become not just stronger in math, but stronger contributors to the community.
