Meet Vic Navarrete! Vic attended Tom Browne Middle School and Foy H. Moody High School. He is a Chief Mass Communications Specialist in the U.S. Navy. ⚓
"Senior Chief Delgado and LCDR Dykeman were my NJROTC instructors at Moody High School, and they are without a doubt part of the foundation of the man and leader I am today. They trusted me with leadership and responsibility at a young age and taught me lessons about service, accountability and taking care of people that I still carry with me today as a Navy Chief. CCISD gave me more than an education. It gave me educators who challenged me, trusted me and helped me figure out where I belonged."

We’re proud to celebrate Mary Carroll High School student Caiden, who was surprised with a Corpus Christi Fire Department Civilian Fire Commendation for his courageous actions during a residential fire.
After spotting the fire, Caiden immediately called 911. With flames visible from a front window, he worked to alert anyone inside and even broke down the front door to help.
The Corpus Christi Fire Department recognized Caiden for his quick actions, exceptional courage, and concern for others' safety.

We want to thank everyone, especially our middle school families, for their patience, understanding and support as we worked to address our school bus delays. We are pleased to share that the first week operating with our updated middle school bell schedule has resulted in significant improvement in on-time bus service.
We will continue to closely monitor bus arrival and departure times and look for ways to further improve service for our students and families.
We are grateful to everyone who reached out with constructive feedback and gave us the opportunity to listen, make changes and improve. Your partnership matters, and we appreciate your patience as we work together to provide reliable transportation for our students.
